Tilt Shift Effect for FCP XShrinkRay X simulates an optical effect that can normally only be achieved using a tilt-shift lens. Using ShrinkRay X, you can create an extremely shallow depth of field on wide shots, making very large subjects look tiny. This works best on wide, dramatic shots: Crowds, vehicles, buildings, and other big things that look fun in miniature. |
Completely Adjustable In FCP XShrinkRay X works entirely inside FCP X. Just apply ShrinkRay X directly to your footage, and then tweak the controls to create the exact look you want. A full suite of controls alows you to quickly adjust the size, shape, falloff, and the magnitude of the blur, apply blur/focus patches to clean up the frame, and even rotate the focus area. |
Mask ViewShrinkRay X offers a powerful mask view to more quickly and easily see which areas within your frame are blurred and in focus. Simply switch on mask view to get the exact amount of blur needed. Using Mask View, you can quickly and easily reposition and adjust your focus area, instead of guessing where exactly your focus area begins and ends. |
