When I try to sign in to CrumplePop app, it gives me an error and does not allow me to sign in.

Please try re-installing the CrumplePop App. Then be sure you are using CrumplePop v1.0.2 or later. You can download the most up-to-date installer here: Free Download. Note the version number of the installer is not the version number of the app that it installs. The installer installs the most recent and up-to-date version of the app.

How do I access the plugins after purchasing?

Download the CrumplePop app and sign in to the account you used for purchasing. After you have signed in to the CrumplePop app, any CrumplePop plugins you have installed will be unlocked, with no beeping sound. You will find the plugins in your host app of choice by searching “CrumplePop” in the Audio Effects browser. Note: If are using Adobe Premiere Pro or Audition you will need to use the Audio Plugin manager to “scan” in your audio plugins before they appear in the Effects Browser. To do this go to Preferences>Audio>Audio Plugin Manager and press the “scan” button. Make sure the plugins are enabled. Then you can search “CrumplePop Complete” in the Effects Browser to find your plugins.

Where are the plugins located in my editing app?

In Final Cut Pro and Logic (and other AU plugin host apps): Go to the Effects Browser and find your plugins here: Audio Effects > AU > CrumplePop Complete. In Premiere, DaVinci Resolve (and other VST3 plugin host apps): Go to the Effects Browser and find your plugins here: Audio Effects > VST3 > Restoration > CrumplePop Complete. Note: If are using Adobe Premiere Pro or Audition you will need to use the Audio Plugin manager to “scan” in your audio plugins before they appear in the Effects Browser. To do this go to Preferences>Audio>Audio Plugin Manager and press the “scan” button. Make sure the plugins are enabled. Then you can search “CrumplePop Complete” in the Effects Browser to find your plugins. 


In Media Composer and ProTools: you’ll find the plugins available in the AudioSuite menu. In ProTools, most of the plugins are available in AudioSuite>Noise Reduction.

My CrumplePop plugins are not appearing in Adobe Premiere or Audition.

To do this go to Preferences>Audio>Audio Plugin Manager and press the “scan” button. Make sure the plugins are enabled. My CrumplePop plugins are not appearing in DaVinci Resolve.

Open DaVinci Resolve and wait a few moments on the Project Browser screen. Resolve should automatically scan for audio plugins, and after opening your project, they will appear in the Effect Browser here: Audio Effects > VST3 > Restoration > CrumplePop Complete If that does not work, then go to Prefrences>Audio Plugins and be sure the CrumplePop audio plugins you are attempting to use are added and enabled in the Available Plugins menu.

My plugin has become disabled in FCP. What do I do now?

In Final Cut Pro, go to Preferences>General and click the Audio Units: “Validate on Next Launch” button. Then restart Final Cut Pro and your plugins will be functional again. To prevent this issue in the future, try using fewer instances of a CrumplePop audio plugins on your timeline. You can use a compound clip to place many clip segments into one clip, then only use CrumplePop audio plugins on that compound clip to make processing more smooth.

I hear a beeping in my audio, how do I remove it?

If you hear a beeping noise during playback, it means that you are in trial mode. To remove the beeping, launch the CrumplePop app and sign in using the information you used for purchasing the plugins.

Do you support Apple silicon (M1, M2) Mac computers?

Yes. We fully support all silicon Mac hardware and all CrumplePop plugins run natively on Apple silicon. Note: SoundApp does not yet run natively on Apple silicon. To use SoundApp, you will need to have Rosetta 2 installed on your Mac. We’re working on silicon support for SoundApp and it will be available soon.

Do CrumplePop plugins work on Windows?

Yes. Our plugins work in Windows host apps that support VST3 and AAX plugin format. This includes Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Avid Media Composer, ProTools, DaVinci Resolve, Reaper, and many more apps. Windows users can also use SoundApp as a standalone app version of our tools.

What is CrumplePop Complete?

CrumplePop Complete is a complete suite of all CrumplePop audio plugins. It also includes CrumplePop SoundApp, a simple standalone app for users who would prefer not to use plugins. CrumplePop Complete is available as a monthly or yearly subscription or a perpetual license. All plugins and apps in CrumplePop complete are managed with the CrumplePop app, so everything is always up to date.

How do I cancel my CrumplePop subscription?

Sign in to the account you use for your subscription. Go to the “Manage Payment” section. Then click the cancel button at the end of row that contains your payment information. Then click confirm if you wish to cancel. After cancelling you can use your plugins until your renewal date, but the plugins will revert to trial mode after that.

Where can I find an invoice for my order?

Sign in to the account you use for your subscription. To view your invoice simply go to the “Payment History” section and click “see invoice”
